With the Caliber RCD238DAB-BT Bluetooth® DAB+ car radio, you can enjoy both your own music and the radio in your car. Connect your phone via Bluetooth® technology or play your CD collection. This car radio offers various ways to play music, but only where you want to. DAB+ Quality Do you enjoy listening to the radio while driving? Then you want good sound quality. DAB+ is digital radio broadcasting over the air and offers better sound than older FM radio. Reception is better, and there is less background noise. DAB+ provides a clearer sound, so you can enjoy your favorite hits and hear the voices in your favorite programs more clearly. There are many DAB+ and FM stations to choose from, so you can easily switch between them without having to search for the right frequency again. Bluetooth® Technology and Playback Bluetooth® technology streaming is clear and crisp thanks to the A2DP and AVRCP profiles. These profiles also prevent noise and glitches. The RCD238DAB-BT displays the artist and track you're currently listening to on the screen using ID3 tags. The RCD238DAB-BT features a 4-band equalizer, allowing you to customize your music to your liking. Hands-Free Calling Use the RCD238DAB-BT as a hands-free car kit with the included external car microphone. Simply place the microphone in a convenient location. Answer your phone using the radio's control panel and conduct your calls clearly through your car speakers. For playing music that isn't through the radio or Bluetooth® technology, the RCD238DAB-BT has several connections. First, there's a CD player. Do you have your music on a USB drive or SD card? Then play it via the corresponding ports. If you have an older playback device, you can use the 3.5 mm auxiliary input. The RCD238DAB-BT also offers the option of connecting an additional amplifier and subwoofer. This is done via the RCA connectors or the subwoofer output on the back of the head unit. The radio is equipped with an ISO connector, enabling plug-and-play installation (provided your vehicle has an ISO connector).
